Quality Control Inspector
Will assist in the development and implementation of standards and procedures to satisfy company quality standards. Establish methods to monitor all material and manufacturing processes. Perform inspection and maintain records of quality problems.
Establish Standards required to support company policies.
Develop procedures and other criteria required to inspect in process manufacturing.
Inspect all material received from outside suppliers.
May be required to interface with vendors or other functional departments to resolve problems.
Maintain history records of quality problems to identify and correct trends.
Train in-house personnel to recognize acceptance criteria.
Perform other special assignments as directed by immediate supervisor.
All reworks and redo pieces, orders and paperwork
Create, maintain and review all paperwork procedures for quality control
Report to Plating Manager and Production Supervisor any paperwork discrepancies and daily problems with plating or finishing quality
Maintain quality control standards for all finishes
Maintain clean work stations for quality control Inspection in all finishing operations.
Education and ExperiencE Requirements
High school diploma required, 2 years college experience preferred.
Desired 5 years direct experience in quality with 2 years hands on inspection experience.
Windows computer expertise
Able to maintain accurate records
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Flexible hours including overtime, Saturday's and bank holidays
Computer skills to include typing, search capabilities on the internet, and software experience for
